Rising NorthWestern Energy electricity rates will crest at 28% for Montana residential and small business customers under an agreement approved by Montana regulators Wednesday.
Electricity rates have been incrementally rising since the utility filed its general rate increase in August 2022. Base rates for natural gas customers will slightly decrease.
