Utilities across the country are key to the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy. Unfortunately, Montana’s largest for-profit utility, NorthWestern Energy, has been fighting this transition. Recently, its bad behavior has increased, costing ratepayers and our planet alike.
In summer 2019, MEIC hosted info sessions to discuss this issue and educate members on the motivations of “investor owned utilities” like NorthWestern.
