“Energy transition” – it’s all the rage among environmental groups, but what does it actually mean? Will people be left behind as new clean energy technologies are adopted? As we eliminate fossil fuels from our energy systems, transitioning to a system built on more affordable, carbon-free clean energy resources, we need our leadership to plan ahead in ways that bring everyone along and ensure reliable, affordable energy throughout this transition.
In this webinar recorded on Feb. 29, MEIC’s Nick Fitzmaurice discusses what this transition looks like in Montana, and what else needs to happen to ensure everyone is brought along.
