A Message of Solidarity Against Violence in Palestine

MEIC joins the millions across the globe calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, aid to Palestinians, a safe return of Israeli hostages, and de-escalation of hostilities across the region. We encourage you to call Montana’s Congressional Delegation (main switchboard is 202.224.3121) and urge them to support a ceasefire and humanitarian aid, and to refrain from supporting legislation that facilitates this war or stokes fear and hatred.

The people of a nation are not the same as its leaders, and all people deserve access to clean water and air, food sovereignty, and a healthy climate. MEIC works fervently for those values in Montana and supports efforts to achieve them across the globe.  People struggling to secure life’s basic necessities cannot focus on helping solve the climate crisis, and we need everyone in this work. We urge our government to demand a ceasefire and the return of clean water and food sovereignty to the people of Gaza.
