Hello readers! It’s an honor and a privilege to join the MEIC team as the Clean Energy Advocate. A little about me: I grew up in New England and spent the last seven years studying environmental and energy policy in the brave little state of Vermont. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development at the University of Vermont in 2018, then a Masters of Energy Regulation and Law from Vermont Law School in 2021. In the interim, I worked for a solar company, helping Vermonters through the clean energy transition by installing rooftop and community solar, air-source heat pumps, battery storage, and EV-chargers.
I’m humbled and thrilled to help the many talented and knowledgeable people in Montana leverage policy and action to accelerate the clean energy transition in Big Sky country. I’m excited to work not only on renewable energy development, but on issues such as energy efficiency and demand response, regional system integration, utility governance, and resource planning.
