MEIC will be at Sunday Streets Missoula 2025 on Sunday, September 7th – a free celebration of community and active transportation that is open to all ages and abilities.
Sunday Streets Missoula is an open street event that encourages us to rethink one of our largest public spaces – our streets. By temporarily closing the streets to cars and opening them up to people for biking, walking, fitness, and fun activities, we can experience how our communities can be more livable and build support for broader transportation choices.
This 1-mile route in the Northside neighborhood (on Cooley, Mitchell, Howell, Homes, Defoe, & Waverly St) will showcase the neighborhood’s friendly community spirit, newly painted traffic calming circles, and unique charm. This event will also include food vendors, free fitness classes, and local businesses and organizations hosting activities along the open street route.
Grab your friends, family, & neighbors and enjoy Missoula’s favorite annual open streets event!
Date: Sunday, Sept. 7
Time: 12-4 PM
Location: Northside neighborhood of Missoula (on Cooley, Mitchell, Howell, Homes, Defoe, & Waverly St)
