Artificial intelligence (AI) data center developers are looking at Broadview, MT as a site for a the largest proposed data center project in the state.
Quantica Infrastructure, through its Big Sky Digital Infrastructure platform, is proposing the Big Sky Campus, a 5,000 acre AI data center in Yellowstone County. The project intends to use up to 1,000 megawatts (MW) of electricity. Data centers of this size also need millions of gallons of water per day.
A massive project of this scale raises major questions about how this will impact the community, energy use, water supply and treatment, long?term economic consequences, and more.
Join MEIC and partners for an educational panel discussion in Broadview to dig into what this data center could mean for local residents, what we know about the project so far, what we still need to find out, and how we can push for community-first decisions instead of corporate driven development.
This event is free and open to the public. Because space will be limited, the panel will be recorded and shared online.
