The Park County Environmental Council (PCEC) will be hosting a legislative update tonight:

It’s been a busy year for anti-wildlife, anti-planning and anti-environmental legislation in Helena.

Although Park County Environmental Council does not have a paid lobbyist at the Montana Legislature, we stay in touch with our friends and colleagues about bills that will impact our local work and our community. We submit testimony and testify when appropriate.
This year our friends in Helena are gravely concerned, and tired.
I write to share some of the most important bills to follow, and to connect you with organizations that are doing the hard work on the ground in Helena. I’ve provided a list below, organized by topic, of organizations and bills to follow. Hope it helps.
Montana Environmental Information Center’s Policy Director, Anne Hedges, will join us for an informal zoom on Monday, March 15th at 5:30pm, to share insight on what’s happening in Helena and answer any questions you may have about how to use your voice.
