We Want Clean Air in Montana Not Toxic Emissions

The Holcim Cement Plant near Trident.
After more than a decade of inaction, the EPA finally took strong action a few years ago to clean up toxic air pollution from cement plants—dirty facilities that cause asthma and heart attacks, brain damage, cancer and as many as 2,500 early deaths every year. Everything was going according to plan, but then the EPA abruptly decided last month to both weaken and delay by two years the health protections for people who live near cement plants. Why? Industry pressure.
Now the EPA needs to hear from you, to help counter that pressure. Take action and tell the EPA that it is unacceptable to delay and weaken protections that would reduce disease and save lives. More information on EPA's proposed rule can be found at Montanans Against Toxic Burning.
Tell EPA we want clean air in Montana not toxic emissions!
