HB 216 - Wind Project Bonding and Decommissioning

HB 216 places reasonable bonding and decommissioning requirements on wind development. Projects would be required to develop a plan for decommissioning and reclamation as well as post a bond to pay for eventual implementation of the plan. The Department of Environmental Quality would set the bonding amount and administer the program.
